Key Account Manager Retail For North Europe (full time - 40h/week)

Our Netherlands-based commercial team plays a crucial role in promoting and distributing our branded and PL products, ensuring outstanding customer service and fostering long-lasting relationships with our partners. We are now seeking a Key Account Manager Retail for North Europe to join our expanding international team at our branch in the NL. As Key Account Manager, you’ll be the main link between Euro Company and our retail partners in Northern and Western Europe. You’ll manage and grow strong, long-term partnerships with key retail clients.

Main Responsibilities:
- Build strong and lasting partnerships with retail customers, acting as a trusted advisor and driving mutual growth.
- Actively collaborate with the Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams to develop integrated commercial strategies, ensuring a consistent flow of information across functions and directly report to the Export Sales Manager, contributing to the definition and achievement of international sales targets.
- Lead negotiations and secure annual agreements on pricing, promotions and contracts that deliver value for both the company and its partners.
- Craft tailored account strategies and uncovered new growth opportunities in nuts, dried fruit and 100% nut spreads categories.
- Drive sales success by consistently achieving targets in revenue, margin and market share.
- Leverage data to inform decisions, analyze sales performance, monitor budgets and provide accurate forecasts.
- Coordinate product launches and trade plans.
- Embody Euro Company’s values, showcasing a deep commitment to sustainability in every business interaction.
What we’re looking for:
- HBO, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar (Master’s a plus).
- 3–5 years of experience in retail account management in food’s sectors, preferably in fresh production.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics, merchandising and consumer behavior.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of Italian and French languages will be considered a plus.
- Passionate about healthy eating, sustainability, and responsible business practices.
- Willing to travel around 15–20% of the time.
